Outbuildings
Every springhouse or smokehouse is unique. Originally, springhouses were used for the long-term cold storage of food such as meat, fruit or dairy products. Smokehouses were used to preserve meats for even longer-term storage. When restored and repointed, these small, historic gems are beautiful to behold and tell interesting stories.
